YOU'RE LEAVING?! OMG, NO!

Tch. Do you seriously expect that kind of reaction? For you? You, an art thief? Think again. I'm afraid I have to fully support theangrygecko in this little spat. You are completely in the wrong here, and you know it, deep down.

Someone exposes you for the sneaky little art weasel you are, and then you threaten to leave? Think that over. Does that sound mature to you? A TRUE artist would take the criticism and remove the STOLEN pictures without a fuss because they know that it's not only illegal, but immoral as well.

The true artists that REALLY did those pictures put their full time, consideration, and imagination into them, and you think you can call them your own by running them through Photoshop to 'give them your own flair'? Wrong. Completely wrong. If you were a true artist, you'd do what we call FANART. You'd take the character concept, but make an entirely new image from sketch to line-art to finished product. You'd put your own spirit into your art and give FULL CREDIT to the creators like the rest of us true artists do.

But, no. You have to follow the idiotic route of the art thief. theangrygecko gave you a stern suggestion and, if you knew the rules, you would have taken the advice and done it without asking. And they're not just the rules of the site. They're the rules of art in general. If I were one of the artists of one of the pictures you 'doctored' and knew of this incident, I would slap a lawsuit on you in a second. Hey, you're old enough to make complete sentences, so you have to be old enough to understand the legal problems that come with art thievery, right?

But, I digress...I should have left this to a short summary. You're a thief and we're glad to be rid of you. If you expect an apology for something ILLEGAL that you've done on your own accord with full knowledge of the consequences, then you don't deserve to leave...you deserve to be kicked out on your hind-parts. Perhaps if YOU apologize now to all of the people here you've offended, we might forgive you somewhat and, if you stayed on the path of ORIGINAL art we would get used to your presence here. But, if not, you have no respect for art...and since you're leaving, I guess you truly don't.

So, whip up an apology or get off our site.

Okay, totally not cool.

We're not supposed to start trouble, these violations are warnings.

If she really wanted to get herself into trouble, she would get banned.

This isn't my deal. I just want to get official artworks and stolen art off dA that I can see.

Telling her to apologize, etc, etc. It doesn't matter. As long as she posts her own art eventually is all I care.

As long as she knows NOW that she shouldn't post art like it's some official fansite image gallery, then it's fine.

True, but she'll eventually have to learn that she can't depend on the backing of other people to help her make her decisions. Leaving a message saying that she'll stay if they convince someone else to apologize for something they don't need to apologize for isn't going to get her anywhere. Besides. If she wants to complain about DA's problems to make an excuse to simply leave the site when she's faced with a problem, then that's on her. But I'm not just going to sit here and let her badmouth theangrygecko simply because she was staing the truth. I'm going to speak my mind about the entire situation at hand, no matter what.

The Rick may not need my support and could very well handle it with the mighty wit that she most definitely has, but someone comparing a VERY good friend like her to a monkey doesn't make me the 'happiest' person in the world.

So I was harsh with my opinion, but when someone upsets me by attempting to make a public fool of a friend of mine, I'm going to respond with all of those emotions and I did all of that without calling her a "monkey" or anything just as impolite. She doesn't have to read that comment if she doesn't want to, but it's there despite that.

I realize that because she was badmouthing gecko, you acted the way you did.

But from now on, please, regardless of what they say-- mean or not mean, please try to be nice...

I am saying this because the admins/gallery directors lately have been banning many people due to words they have said, they could have told you that you were a troll or anything like that, even though she said those things. I am just warning you that next time, please watch it... I wouldn't want you to get banned.

If that user wants to be an ass, let them. Doesn't mean you have to be one.

I suppose you're right, so I'll take your advice to heart. So, from now on, I'll at least try a little harder to be more polite about what I say, anger or not.
